I don't like this.

Looks like I'm going to be playing Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart DS for my Mario Kart fun. No multiplayer GPs, no free-for-all battles, wider tracks, Miis, no snaking, and 12 racers (gulp... more potential items).

Blaaaaaah.

Most of that has been disproved. Eurogamer is playing the beta, remember?

There is still multiplayer Grand Prix.
Not sure about free-for-all battles.
Yeah, wider tracks.
Miis have to be unlocked and are entirely optional.
No snaking? Is that a bad thing?
12 racers sounds good... how is this a fault?

This is just my opinion on the game, I'm not listing the faults.

Good about the Grand Prix.
Don't care if Miis are optional, they're there, and they shouldn't be.
No snaking IS a bad thing. For me, at least. And auto-powerslide? Blaaaaaah.
Blah at 12 racers, it means the tracks need to be wider and there are going to be more items flying at me.
And bumping (where you bump into someone and they fly off track) is back from DD, double-blah.

Yeah, wider tracks. Ugh...
Miis have to be unlocked and are entirely optional. Worst thing to ever happen to MK
No snaking? Is that a bad thing? It's not
12 racers sounds good... how is this a fault? It's not either

We have a proud tradition of failure to uphold!
Is it bad that I still like MK64 the best?

(Although I <3 Super Circut's Rainbow Roads....)

I like the no snaking thing seeing is I won't have to worry about people beating me all the time because they learned that skill. However I do understand that some people do like snaking so I think it probably would have been a better idea to have an option where you can turn on and turn off snaking for wifi and normal races. They should have compromised then everyone would have been happy
