IGN UK gave MKWii an 8.9. (I don't know how you couldn't decipher that from the title) I personally don't think it'll be that good, but I'm not going to judge what I haven't played Lemme get a link... Here |

Wow... "Mario Kart SNES > Mario Kart DS > Mario Kart GBA > Mario Kart Double Dash > Mario Kart 64." Morons. 0_0 They need to take off those rose-tinted glasses... Mario Kart SNES, the best one? Hahaha... gimme a break. I'd switch the first and last game, personally. Anyway, gimped Battle Mode = huge disappointment. |

I've never been less excited for a "major" Nintendo title. I just have a bad feeling about this game. |

I have been... Phantom Hourglass. I wasn't excited for that game at all. And for good reason; it was average at best. I'm getting the same feeling with MKWii. :\ |

The only thing you've managed to break so far... is my heart. </3 This isn't brave, it's murder. What did I ever do to you? | |

I would get it, I honestly don't agree with all of the Phantom Hourglass hate going around. I think it's all based on the TotOK, which nobody likes. I don't mind it. |

My dislike for Phantom Hourglass stems from some odd design choices. To begin with, it's a 3D game on a portable. You can see some compromises in the music department (it sounds like Animal Crossing...) and in the dungeon designs. They're just not as interesting or engrossing as the other games. And since the DS has the power of an N64 and then some, we know it's possible to create an Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask-esque game on DS. I just think they focused too much on the graphics and controls. Hell, I don't even like the cell shaded style... the controls are OK, too. You can tell they worked on them, but honestly... sometimes they're a little wonky. That, and going around via the ship got boring fast, just like in the GCN game. Phantom Hourglass had some potential, but Nintendo barely capitalized on any of it. It felt more like a spin-off than a real Zelda game. And I'm not even getting into the story issues... I mean... worst final boss ever? Edit - Oh yeah, and the Temple of the Ocean King... don't even get me STARTED on that... |
