Im kinda trying to do something, and I need a fully upgraded Nook's store (just restarted)

Till then he'll probably sit dormant till City Folk, but this way I can start off City Folk with a character that im pleased with the looks of, right away. I dont plan to transfer anything else though, strictly my character for his Name/Looks, no catalog or any of that.

I know you can transfer your AC:WW character over to AC:CF but what else? It's in one of the videos on the accityfolk youtube account, with the guy demoing for the French dude. I wasn't aware you could transfer your character, though. I had heard INITIALLY that you could, and you could take everything in your inventory as well, but when I watched that demo video, he said the only connectivity would be the DS Suitcase function for the catalog. Maybe he was mistaken, or just talking about that specific option. I'unno.

You can transfer your character, as an interview with the creator stated, which gives you only the name and clothes of your DS one, nothing else. You can upload your catalog which allows you to order the items you had in the DS version from Nook, as stated in that french interview you mentioned. Then the DS suitcase, which is something different entirely, allows you to temporarily hold your City folk character while you go over a friends house and travel to their town with your character, basically it jsut acts like a temporary memory card, but JUST for a character, and you cant play anything on the DS while this is going on, either. Its mostly for people without WiFi access.
