Remember back when platformers and adventure games were the main craze and there was a new one like every week? I somewhat miss that, FPS is obviously the main fad now, but I can only wonder what the next big gaming fad will be.

I hope to get back into the game soon, though.	Platformers forever. I hate FPS games. That's why I still play games like Mario and Sonic. Although they've gone 3D, they're still platformers. More action/adventure, but platformers nonetheless.

RPGs have always been just hovering in the background between the games nobody cares about and the main attraction. I don't see that changing. I think it will be a genre that nobody expects. One game is going to jump out and surprise everyone, then a load of other people will copy that game and then that'll be that
